I'm having trouble appointing Keyholders?
Only Company Owners can do this, and they must purchase a Corporate Licence for their company in order to do so. Company Owners can then appoint and remove Keyholders from the list of their company's employees shown on the Company page
Why can I not see other members' contacts, followers and who they are following?
You cannot see this as Engineering.Community considers this information to be private and confidential
What happens if I block another member?
The blocked member will no longer be able to follow you and your profile will not show to the blocked member under the 'Members' section on Engineering.Community
Why can I not purchase any more Corporate Licences?
Additional Corporate Licences can only be purchased after your original Corporate Licence expires. However, if you contact us - via the 'Contact' tab at the bottom of the page - confirming your additional requirements we will endeavour to assist you
What payment methods are accepted?
Engineering.Community only accepts payments by credit and debit card, handled exclusively by our payment partner WORLDPAY. We do not accept any other form of payment (i.e. cheques)
What can Keyholders do?
Keyholders are able to help a Company Owner manage their company's presence on Engineering/Community by editing company details and adding job postings. If you are made a Keyholders you also receive a complimentary Corporate membership full upgrade and you get all the same benefits as a Corporate Member
Can Keyholders purchase Corporate Licences?
No, only the Company Owner (i.e. the Corporate Member that originally created that company) can purchase a Corporate License for that company. Keyholders cannot purchase a Corporate Licence for someone else's company.
Why do Keyholders lose Corporate Membership upgrade?
The Corporate Licence may have expired or your appointment as a Keyholder may have been revoked by the Company owner. For both issues, we recommend contacting the Company owner for assistance
How do I manage my Keyholders?
You can manage your Keyholders by selecting from the list of employees showing on your Company page. You can then click to assign or click to remove
What purchases can I make on a recurring basis?
Purchases for Corporate Membership and Corporate Licences can both be done on a recurring basis. Job Postings and Cross-site Advertisements can only be purchased as one-off payments
How do I view the answers to the question(s) in my Job Posting?
Go to your Job Posting on Engineering.Community and click on job application. Answer or answers will appear in a pop-up box (along with links to any attachments provided by the candidate)
How many Job Postings do I have?
Every company profile created by a Corporate Member comes with five complimentary Job Postings. The number you currently have available can be viewed by hoovering over your member icon on the top right-hand side once you are logged in. Individual members need to become Corporate Members to post jobs
How do I add my CV and other relevant documents to my profile?
1. Go to: "My Profile"; 2. Go to: "Edit Profile"; 3. Click on the cog next to: "Your recruitment profile settings: CV and supporting documents"; 4. Choose the file to upload from your computer. It must be in DOCX format to be searchable; 5. Tick the CV box (if applicable); 6. Where it says: "Document name" - label it; 7. Click on Save. You will then be taken back to the Edit Profile screen, where you will see the following text in red at the top: "Document successfully uploaded". Repeat steps 1-7 for any other documents you want to add.

Individual and Corporate members can add events to the calendar, which will be visible to them and their followers, if they elect to add it to their calendar. Engineering.Community also adds approved events for the whole Community to view. Corporate Members can request Engineering.Community to feature approved events via the 'Contact' page

What do you mean by 'resting' a member's account on Engineering.Community?
Members who haven't visited in the last three months are considered 'rested' / 'dormant' and won't show up on the site to other users, but you can instantly revive your account at any time simply by logging in as all your profile details will still be there
How do I update the email address used to register with Engineering.Community?
Once you have logged in, select 'My Profile' from orange drop down 'Menu' and then click on the orange 'Edit Profile' button. Choose 'Your Engineering.Community account settings' and edit your current email address
What is a 'contact'?
A contact is someone who is following you on the site, and who you in turn are following. It makes discussions easier between you as you will be able to send private messages back and forth.
How do I share events with other members?
Members who are following you will see that you have created a new event on their Activity page, and will have the option to add the event to their own calendars. Any events added to a Group Calendar are shared amongst all Group Members.
How do I delete a group?
Members cannot delete a group once created. However, if you would like your group removed, please contact Engineering.Community via the 'Contact' page and we will delete it
What does the 'watch' facility on Engineering.Community do?
Only Corporate members can use this facility as it allows them to create a list of members that might be suitable for a new role that they are advertising on Engineering.Community
